September 18-24 marks Child Passenger Safety Week, ending on Saturday, the 24th with National Seat Check Saturday. This week is devoted to raising awareness on the importance of child passenger safety and educating the public on the proper measure to combat such dangerous risks. Special events will be taking place across the country in honor of Child Passenger Safety Week, including in the neighboring town of Roswell, GA.

The Roswell Fire Department, in partnership with Safe Kids North Fulton, will provide attendees with free car seat checks, administered by certified child passenger safety technicians. The event will occur on Saturday, September 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fire Station 5 (1200 Hembree Road). They hope to use this event to educate parents and others alike about the importance of child passenger safety, addressing topics such as proper car seat installation & registration, booster seats, and seat belts.

We hope that you and your children stay safe on the road and have an enjoyable weekend!
