Acura Carland offers a wide range of service and detailing services to Duluth, GA drivers. What are some steps drivers can take between maintenance visits to keep their vehicle in top shape? We’re glad you asked. One thing you can do to keep your Acura running smoothly is check your tire pressure regularly. Let Acura Carland walk you through this simple automotive task.

How To Check Tire Air Pressure:

1) First, you’ll need to find out what the recommended tire pressure is for your Acura.

 - On most Acura models you can find this information displayed on a decal inside the front glove box.

 - Remember - the recommended tire pressure might differ between your front and rear tires.

 - The recommended tire pressure displayed on your actual tires and that which is displayed on the decal in your glove box might differ. Go with the recommended tire pressure displayed by your Acura inside the glovebox.

2) Check your tires in the morning before you drive for the first time that day.

3) Make sure you’re using an accurate tire gauge.

 - The gauges on air pumps at gas stations are not always the most accurate.

 - Be sure that your tire gauge is in proper working order.

4) Unscrew the cap from your tire’s nozzle.

5) Fit your gauge to the end of the nozzle and push until your gauge reveals your tire’s pressure.

6) Add or release air to correct your tire’s level.
