The Acura HandsFreeLink is one of Acura’s most prized features. This week, Acura Carland is explaining how to work this useful feature and highlighting some of its key attributes.
To Connect Your Smart Phone:
- Open your smartphone’s settings
- Open Bluetooth preferences
- Select your vehicle from the available pairing options
To Operate HandsFreeLink
The Acura HandsFreeLink system is controlled through buttons on the lower left hand side of your Acura steering wheel. *Note* Button images and exact position may vary Acura to Acura. The top button, featuring a face, lets user engage with HandsFreeLink. The button featuring a solid phone lets Acura drivers answer a call. The bottom feature, featuring a phone hanging up, ends your calls or exits the Acura HandsFreeLink.
Incoming Calls / Display Information
Incoming calls will be displayed on the Multi-Information Display located on your center instruments panel. When pairing your mobile device the Multi-Information Display will direct you through prompts to download contacts and other HandsFreeLink features.
