At Acura Carland we believe in assisting our customers with any automotive concerns they may have. Recently it came to our attention that many 2016 Acura MDX owners are having a hard time locating the mechanism to pop their hood. Let Acura Carland explain how to perform this task.
First off, the mechanism to pop the 2016 Acura MDX’s hood is a button, not a lever, which some drivers may not be used to. Where is this button? The hood release button is in the driver’s foot space on the left hand side. It is tricky to see, being about ¼ of the way back from where the door opens. If you run your hand along the left hand side of your foot space about three inches off the ground you will find the release.
