Acura Carland, in Roswell, GA wanted to use this week’s blog to talk about Acura’s latest achievement. This year for the fifth year in a row Acura has taken home the Edmunds Best Retained Value Award! Acura has beaten all other brands with the highest projected residual value of 47.6% after 5 years of ownership. The percentage is based on the average Edmunds True MarketValue price when sold as new. Acura has the distinction of being presented a brand-level Best Retained Value award more than any other luxury vehicle.

The Edmunds Best Retained Value Award has only been around for six years, and 5 of those years the prestigious award has gone to Acura. Acura’s Vice President, Jong Ikeda, had this to say about Acura’s newest accomplishment, “Topping the Edmunds rankings for projected retained value for eligible luxury brands for the fifth straight year is an important validation of our total focus on delivering precision crafted performance in every facet of what it means to own an Acura vehicle. Acura products continue to set the benchmark in the luxury market by providing customers with a unique combination of luxury and performance, leading-edge safety technology and exceptional long-term quality, reliability and durability.”

On top of this already impressive accomplishment, Acura also recently took home the Top Luxury Brand Award by KBB for having the lowest cost of ownership over a 5 year period.
